CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

We are committed to our community through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
CSR is a fundamental part of the way Wazalendo does its business.
It provides an opportunity to build better relationships with our stakeholders by paying close attention when fulfilling our CSR.
While our mission is to mobilize funds in order to provide affordable financial services that effectively improve members welfare, Wazalendo
Sacco has also participated in a number of CSR programs.

They include;

• DStv Subscription
• Visiting and training of SACCOs in Uganda

• CDF Cup sponsorship
• Mass Wedding contribution
• Provided sanitary pads to female soldiers undergoing training
• A contribution to the children’s get-together Christmas party
• Contribution towards the memorial lecture for the Late Aronda Nyakairima
• WSACCO contribution of UGX130 towards the extension of the maternity ward at Bombo General Military Hospital.
• WSACCo contribution of UGX 3m to the Pharmaceutical society of Uganda towards the Sickle Cell run
• WSACCO contribution of UGX4m to the Chieftancy of Sports to supports talent development in UPDF
